On an air brake equipped vehicle, the compressor pumps air while the motor is running.
The governor controls the compressor putting the compressor into the load (cut-in) and unload (cut-out) phase. While unloaded, the compressor just pumps air from one cylinder to the other rather than send it to the tank.
The governor controls the tank supplies air pressure and operates the compressor unloading mechanism to verify whether the compressor accumulates pressure or not.
The D2A Type Air Compressor Governor is Non-Adjustable.
