Safety valves are used in air brake systems to protect against excessive pressure buildup. They include a warning sound.
Unlike the ST-1 model, the ST-3 and ST-4 valves are not adjustable in terms of pressure levels or in port sizes.
The maximum pressure in the system allowed by government regulations is 150 PSI.
