This valve accepts a signal from two sources and delivers it to a common outlet. It's commonly used with a trailer control and foot valve.
It's required if an element must receive air from the higher of two pressure sources. An internal disc moves in response to the higher air pressure and allows that air flow leaving through the delivery port.
Double check valves should be installed in a way the shuttle or disc works horizontally.
