Sealed Replacement Cartridge for AD-IS Air Dryer
Desiccant style air dryers are in line filters which eliminate both liquid and vapor from compressor discharge air before it reaches the tank. Thus, only clean and dry air gets into the air system. They avoid freeze-ups and prolong the air system elements life. Cartridges are found in two types: standard and oil coalescing.
Standard cartridges eliminate moisture from the air through the desiccant material in the unit, while coalescing cartridges remove moisture as well as oil aerosol and particulate matter as air passes through filters in the unit.
