SL-4 Air Brake Stop Light Switch - 1/4 Inch NPT
Stop light switches are electro-pneumatic switches which complete an electrical circuit together with the brake valve and stop lights when brakes are applied. When brakes are applied, the air flow coming from the brake valve gets in the cavity located below the diaphragm and the air pressure underneath the diaphragm surpass the spring force when it reaches approximately 5 PSI. It then pushes the piston until the contact points close, completing the stop light electrical circuit.
Comes with Safety Cap to Protect the Threads and Mechanism prior Installation.
